Blue Mountains-based sound artist James Heighway has been working in the analogue improvisation scene for many years. He is currently using a vintage Jands JM5 mixing desk modded with oscillators, noise generators, circuit feedback, delay, ring modulation and loop sampler as a full analogue Dials synth board along with a vintage Micromoog and Hard Mod ribbon synth. His latest project is Dialtones – 1000 recordings of analogue synths textures.
