The legendary Clan Analogue will celebrate their 30th birthday and launch their new compilation Cognition 303: Bassline Deviations at Vitalise on Sunday the 5th of February.
Don’t miss Clan Analogue’s guest collaboration with Vitalise on Sunday February 5th, from 4pm, with live sets from Ryan Spinoglio (The Good Shadow), Lucy Cliché, Swinging Tasty Bag and Organarchy.
Vitalise is eight weeks of Sunday events running in January and February, focusing on underground live electronic music and video performance, taking place at Bordello Bar on Level 4 of the Kings Cross Hotel.
TB-303 enthusiast Ryan Spinoglio aka The Good Shadow will return to Vitalise to present a live performance of his latest electro using all hardware.
Lucy Cliché is an ever evolving project exploring intersections between techno, industrial and electro. Also using an all hardware set-up her music delivers heavy bass rhythms, pounding drums, washed over with synth chords and acid bleeps.
Four-piece techno funk ensemble Swinging Tasty Bag will perform a completely improv set with classic analogue synths, drum machines and samplers.
Organarchy will perform their politically-fuelled, beat-driven acid techno onslaught using a combination of hardware boxes and modular synthesiser.
Vitalise aims to bring producers and dabblers out from their dark studios and get them to socialise, try out new ideas, play over a PA system for the first time, collaborate with someone new or even roll out a polished show. In that spirit, this week of Vitalise sees an electronic music equipment buy/sell/swap meet take place in parallel with the gig. Turn that unused drum machine into cash, swap a euro module for an FX pedal, or find a new noise making toy!
The live sets will be complimented by sonic mayhem from DJ Methodix as the evening progresses.
Visuals for the night will be a live collaboration between Ed Bleepin (LZX Industries) and Michael K (ESEM Projects).
