Sectoral is Melbourne-based artist and writer David Prescott-Steed creating dark ambient analogue perambulations as a solo performer and collaborator. Meaning ‘of, or pertaining to, sector,’ the pseudonym denotes sonic textures that incorporate elements of industrial music and urban found sound, sample mangling, sculpted noise and modular minimalism. As Sectoral, David’s current productions are improvised sonic accompaniments to the neural tides of thoughts and memories.
